Cynthia Loughman, a longtime Ventura resident, originally hailed from the Santa Barbara area after moving there from Niagara Falls, New York immediately after her high school graduation. She was awarded a college scholarship and used it to attend University of California at Santa Barbara after her one year attendance at Montesana Finishing School in Switzerland where excellence in languages and winter  sports were emphasized. Cynthia is the mother of two grown sons…one with a masters degree in Geology and another working towards a degree in medicine. For 17 consecutive years Cynthia, month after month, year after year, learned the first or second place standing for production. She has won many awards including a fully paid trip for two to Hawaii for a week. In addition to her marketing skills and often times built-in  clientele for residential properties, Cynthia has sold over $10,000,000 of agricultural ranch land in Ventura County during the past 12 months. For a period of three years, Cynthia successfully owned and operated her own mortgage company in Santa Barbara obtaining an in-depth understanding of the lending industry. She can pre-qualify buyers and help sellers understand qualifications for future purchases, trades, etc. Cynthia also has a current insurance license with which she can aid her clientele in properly assuring that the surviving spouse or heir has been fully protected in the unexpected or illness caused death of the other. In 1989 Cynthia donated her home to the DESIGN HOUSE chapter of the NEW WEST SYMPHONY. The home was totally redecorated and for 30 days a fee was charged to the general public for visitation. The project made  approximately $50,000 for the symphony….much to Cynthia's delight! Now Cynthia is an active member of the Design House helping with marketing and promotion as well as the minor jobs of docenting and greeting at the house when the project is in full force…usually every May or June for 30 days.  Cynthia has been licensed and in the business since 1973 and has 27 years of accumulated and learned expertise ready and happy to help everyone.
